Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the planning and execution of project/ release testing activities
Develop QA plan, Master Test Plan, Test Strategy
Prioritization of tasks according to business needs
Capacity planning, allocation of tasks and activities, tracking and reporting
Provide guidance to automation team in Selenium; good knowledge in Automation frameworks.
Review test scenarios and exhaustive test cases developed by team and ensure Traceability
Handle the Defect Triage process and triage defects logged by various teams and provide appropriate Root cause analysis (RCA) in leadership meetings
Participate in project meetings and coordination with various development teams, product teams, UAT team and users
Perform Test estimation for project activities
Plan and implement improvements through process changes and through tools and methodologies
Ensure that daily status reports are sent out and review the report in daily meetings with leads
Mentor and provides training to any new team members
Skills required:
Candidate should have 12 to 15 years of experience in testing with 4+ years in the capacity of manager
Expertise in STLC and have exposure to various testing types such as Functional, System, Integration, UAT, End to End testing, Regression, performance, security and Automation testing.
Exposure to Agile based projects and a good understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) tools (ex. Git, Jenkins)
Should possess excellent communication skills and Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Ability to handle multiple priorities, projects, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
Good understanding of automation testing; knowledge in tools such as Testproject.io, CrossBrowserTesting, BrowserStack, etc. would be an added advantage
